We are currently recruiting for a qualified and experienced Assessor to join a supportive and inclusive team, delivering high-quality support services to learners with SEND and specific access requirements.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in improving access to education for students who require reasonable adjustments in line with JCQ exam access arrangements.

πŸ”§ Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Exams Department to coordinate and administer the exam access arrangements process, ensuring JCQ compliance.
  • Plan, implement, and regularly review individual support programmes, making sure provision meets the needs of learners and is clearly documented.
  • Deliver the Specialist Support Model of inclusive practice and champion the implementation of the SEND Code of Practice.
  • Work closely with SEND Campus Coordinators and other support professionals to ensure effective specialist interventions, strategies, and enabling tools are in place for learners.

πŸŽ“ Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification relevant to the role.
  • A recognised qualification to assess exam access arrangements in line with JCQ regulations (e.g., CPT3A or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated success in delivering effective support programmes that improve learner outcomes.
  • Previous teaching or support experience working directly with learners with SEND.
